2. Chimei Museum in Tainan
Designed with a European style reminiscent of ancient Greece and housing a vast collection of Western artworks, the Chimei Museum was donated to Tainan City Government by its founder, Robert Hsu, in 2012, and relocated to its new building which opened in 2015. Its immense popularity has attracted tens of thousands of visitors, making it one of Tainan’s must-visit attractions.

3. 3c Innovation Digital Life Park
Known as the “Akihabara of Taipei,” the 3c Innovation Digital Life Park is located in the Guanghua Commercial Zone, near the Huashan Cultural and Creative Park. Its exterior is both creative and cutting-edge. Inside, it offers the feel of a 3C department store, attracting major brands in telecommunications, mobile phones, computers, cameras, and audio equipment. It’s also a great destination for weekend shopping.

4. Kaohsiung Public Library Main Branch
With an appearance resembling a gift box and dazzling lighting effects, the Kaohsiung Public Library Main Branch is a popular photo spot for anyone passing by. Visiting the observation deck on the tenth floor for night views in the evening is a highly recommended activity among netizens. It is also the world’s first building constructed using a suspended construction method. Additionally, it will house Taiwan’s first international picture book library and children’s theater, featuring a collection of 120,000 children’s picture books from around the world.

5. Tamsui Cloud Gate Theatre

8. Sanchong National Sports Center
The vibrant and colorfully designed Sanchong Sports Center not only offers ball games, swimming, and rock climbing, but also boasts archery facilities that surpass those of membership-only clubs and gyms. With an automatic target-return system, you just press a button and the target moves forward—no need to get wet or disturb others when retrieving your arrows. 9. Xinke National Sports Center
As the first sports center in Hsinchu City and also the first outside of Taiwan’s six major municipalities, Xinke National Sports Center is linked with the adjacent Xinke Junior High School green park area. It’s a popular eco-friendly green building that emphasizes energy-saving and environmental protection.

Opened last July, the eye-catching bright yellow Xinwutai National Sports Center is the first in New Taipei City focused on “martial arts combat sports.” Its “Combat Sports Classroom” is suitable for various martial arts including karate, sanda, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, boxing, judo, and Russian sambo.
