Kintaro Teppanyaki Hot Pot is also introduced from Japan. Established in 1988 in Osaka’s Shinsaibashi district, the Kintaro teppan (flat iron griddle) resembles a square, basket-like shallow pan. It’s a new style of Japanese cuisine combining Korean BBQ and sukiyaki, featuring ingredients such as bean sprouts, kimchi, plenty of beef, and intestines. At the end, the remaining sauce in the pan is mixed with rice to make a crispy rice dish.
