Are the photo sticker machines back again, and this time they’re actually in MRT stations? Taipei Metro has installed photo sticker machines at stations such as Dongmen, Taipei City Hall, Guting, Shilin, Zhongshan, Xinbeitou, and Taipei Main Station, allowing the public to take playful photos with Taipei’s famous landmarks.

Since the end of 2014, Taipei Metro has gradually installed photo sticker machines at popular tourist stations such as Taipei Main Station, Tamsui Station, Chientan Station, Songshan Station, Taipei 101/World Trade Center Station, Ximen Station, Taipei Zoo Station, as well as at Maokong Gondola and Children’s Amusement Park. In the new year, additional machines have been added at seven stations including Dongmen, Taipei City Hall, and Guting. Among these, a second machine has also been installed at the bustling Taipei Main Station, bringing the total number of photo sticker machines in Taipei to 18, so you can enjoy the fun of taking photo stickers wherever you go.

Each photo sticker machine offers eight frames that incorporate features of attractions around Taipei Metro, embellished with cute illustrations. Whether it’s the signature snacks of Shilin Night Market, the must-line-up foods at Guting, the mango shaved ice at Dongmen, the cozy hot springs in Xinbeitou, or the nostalgic vibe of 44 South Village, the machines bring these iconic “marks” of Taipei back to life, allowing you to create eternal memories with them.
