Tickets are 604 yuan more expensive than Tokyo Disneyland’s！ Shanghai Disneyland begins ticket sales on March 28

Shanghai Disney Resort, which is set to officially open on June 16, has announced that it will start selling tickets for Shanghai Disneyland within the resort on March 28. The price of a one-day ticket for entry from June 16 to 30 is 499 yuan (approximately NT$2,552), while a single-day ticket at Tokyo Disneyland is 6,900 yen (approximately NT$1,948), making the price difference about 604 yuan.

The period from June 16 to 30, 2016, is classified as the Grand Opening Period, during which visitors will be among the first official guests of Shanghai Disney Resort.After the Grand Opening Period, the price of a regular day ticket is 370 yuan (approximately NT$1,893); the price of a peak day ticket is 499 yuan, applicable to holidays, weekends, and summer vacation.

In addition, children (height between 1.0 meter and 1.4 meters, inclusive), seniors (65 years old and above), and visitors with disabilities can enjoy a special 25% discount on ticket prices. Infants (height 1.0 meter and below) can enter the park free of charge. Purchasing a two-day ticket combo also comes with a 5% discount on the total price. (All tickets are date-specific, and visitors may only enter the park on the date selected at the time of purchase)

Shanghai Disneyland states that the park features six themed lands, and with a ticket, visitors can enjoy all rides and entertainment shows in the park throughout the day.
