Huh? Why are Chibi Maruko-Chan and Satsuki at Kaohsiung MRT?! It turns out that Kaohsiung MRT’s Formosa Boulevard Station has been transformed into a Chibi Maruko-Chan scene. The immensely popular anime character in Japan has recently collaborated with Kaohsiung MRT to bring the shrine and park from the anime to the station, allowing visitors to revisit classic scenes from the show in a familiar setting.

When visiting a shrine, drawing a fortune stick is a must. The shrine at Formosa Boulevard Station also offers this service, adding a festive New Year vibe. Additionally, the “Chibi Maruko-Chan Kaohsiung MRT Welfare Shop” has been set up, featuring a variety of Chibi Maruko-Chan merchandise. Visitors can also get a limited-edition stamp book and collect cute Chibi Maruko-Chan stamps at designated stations as keepsakes. During the event period, limited-edition Kaohsiung MRT postcards are also available—write your message and send it through the Chibi Maruko-Chan mailbox for an extra special touch.
