According to the UK's Daily Mail, many new cruise ships will embark on their maiden voyages this year, 2016. Some, as reported, will only set sail in 2018. Below are the features and highlights of these cruise ships—don’t miss out if you’re a cruise enthusiast！

1. Harmony of the Seas
Royal Caribbean has always been the LV of the cruise world, and the world’s largest Harmony of the Seas can accommodate 5,490 passengers. For thrill-seekers, Harmony of the Seas is definitely the top choice, as it features the world’s tallest onboard waterslide. Of course, culture lovers can also enjoy musicals on board. This summer, the Harmony will mainly sail in the Mediterranean, and will only cross the Atlantic back to Florida in the fall.

2. Holland America Koningsdam
This ship can carry 2,650 passengers and features a Culinary Arts Center where you can learn to cook, as well as a Sea Art Museum that displays replicas of famous masterpieces from the Amsterdam Museum. Music lovers can also find blues and classical music salons on board. The Koningsdam will set sail on its maiden voyage this year, mainly cruising in European regions.

3. Carnival Vista
Setting sail in the Mediterranean this May, it features a monorail, artificial waves for water play, and an onboard IMAX cinema.

4. Regent Seven Seas Explorer
The Regent Seven Seas Explorer will meet passengers in July and has been selected as one of the world’s most luxurious cruise ships. The 750 suites all come with large balconies, grand pianos, and spas. The biggest perk is that the fare includes everything, such as 24-hour beverage service.

5. Viking Sea
The ship’s decor is in Scandinavian style, and the ticket price includes shore excursions. This year’s sailing route is from Scandinavia to Turkey.

6. Scenic Eclipse
Scenic Cruises originally specialized in river cruises, but the Scenic Eclipse is its first ocean-going ship, set to debut in 2018. Though it has only 114 suites, every day is ultra-luxurious, and it even houses two helicopters and a submarine for passengers to experience different altitudes and depths. The maiden voyage route is from Istanbul to Venice.
