Now, a retro British-style phone booth has appeared near the Xinqijiang shopping district — in fact, it’s a “British Milk Tea Vending Machine,” with only 200 bottles available each day. Located under the arcade, the “British Milk Tea Vending Machine” sells 600ml British Milk Tea for NT$35. Since its launch during the Lunar New Year holiday, it has successfully attracted many buyers. The vendor emphasizes that their drinks are brewed with premium imported tea leaves, requiring a long steeping process, and are all sweetened with natural cane sugar. Made fresh daily, they can’t be mass-produced. The shop reminds customers to shake the drink before drinking for the best taste.
