The 32-year-old Shuangsheng branch at Ren’ai Circle has officially announced its temporary closure. Heshimeng revealed that their “home base” at Ren’ai Circle will be transformed with a new look. In addition to the opening of tonkotsu ramen shop “ラ0?幞笱戗Nagi),” the popular New York-style American barbecue restaurant Mighty Quinn’s Barbeque will also make its debut. Currently, Mighty Quinn’s has seven locations across the Greater New York area, making Taiwan its eighth store and the first overseas location. The anticipated opening is in mid-April.

Mighty Quinn’s Barbeque is currently the most popular barbecue (BBQ) restaurant in New York, blending tradition with innovation to redefine the BBQ experience. It combines the best elements of two classic American barbecue styles — from Texas and the Carolinas. Pit Master Hugh Mangum has crafted a distinctive flavor profile unique to Mighty Quinn’s. Starting as a small food stall, Mighty Quinn’s Barbeque opened its first brick-and-mortar location in New York’s East Village in 2012. Hugh’s slow-smoked delicacies caught the attention of media outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Bloomberg.
