Among them, Chaoyuefang is truly "trendy." The Peking-style crispy duck, besides the traditional sweet bean sauce, has introduced perilla plum sauce and pesto. The pancakes come in three flavors: scallions, red onions, and buckwheat. For toppings, you can choose from scallion slices, cucumber, plus fried garlic chips, cheese, blueberries, and apples.

HowToTrip’s flagship hotel, Mefu Grand Hotel, features five on-site restaurants: Caihui Buffet, Chaoyuefang, Mi Xiang, European Restaurant GMT, and Japanese restaurant Qingshan. The pancakes come in three flavors: scallions, red onions, and buckwheat. For toppings, you can choose from scallion slices, cucumber, plus fried garlic chips, cheese, blueberries, and apples.

Chaoyuefang’s Peking duck is made using 3.5-kilogram Yilan cherry ducks, roasted to perfection. Traditional Peking duck is typically served with scallion slices, cucumber, pancakes, and sweet bean sauce. But Chaoyuefang takes it up a notch — the pancakes come in three flavors (scallions, red onions, and buckwheat), and the toppings are served in a Western-style three-tiered platter reminiscent of an English afternoon tea. The top tier includes green onion sauce, blueberries, cheese, and ginger slices; the middle layer holds the classic sweet bean sauce, scallion slices, cucumber, and pickled chili peppers; while the bottom tier features perilla plum sauce, lettuce, fried garlic chips, and apples. With three sauces and nine topping options, you can create a wide variety of flavor combinations, breaking away from the traditional Peking duck experience.
