Kaohsiung MRT welcomes a new attraction—Chibi Maruko-chan makes an appearance at the Central Park Station, inviting you to stroll through vast fields of flowers

Chibi Maruko-chan is holding a class reunion at Kaohsiung MRT’s Central Park Station. Following the recreation of the shrine and park scenes from the Chibi Maruko-chan anime at Formosa Boulevard Station on February 4th, she has now made her way to the Central Park Station. Recently, she was spotted enjoying a joyful outing in a sunflower sea along with classmates like Wanko, Tama-chan, and others.

Next to the escalator at Kaohsiung MRT’s Central Park Station, a large field of sunflowers has “sprouted” on the lawn, attracting Chibi Maruko-chan, Tama-chan, Wanko, Nagasawa, Fujiki, Hamazaki, and Itaro, who have traveled all the way from Japan to enjoy the flowers and go on an outing together. Their adorable appearances have captivated passersby, who can’t help but stop to take photos, exclaiming, “So cute!” Kaohsiung MRT mentioned that the scenery looks different during the day and at night, and invites travelers to come by and admire the charming Chibi Maruko-chan.

In addition, Formosa Boulevard Station also features shrine and park scenes. The shrine even offers visitors the chance to draw fortune sticks, creating a strong New Year atmosphere. The event runs until July 31st. There is also a newly launched “Chibi Maruko-chan Kaohsiung MRT Welfare Shop,” where various Chibi Maruko-chan merchandise is displayed. Visitors can also pick up a limited-edition stamp book and get adorable Chibi Maruko-chan stamps at designated stations as souvenirs. During the event period, limited-edition Kaohsiung MRT postcards are also available. After writing on them, you can send them through the Chibi Maruko-chan mailbox, making it extra special.
