A magical cat house has appeared at a 7-Eleven in Douliu — cats can even reach out from the walls to shake hands

Convenience stores taken over by cats: A chain convenience store in Douliu, Yunlin, has used 3D painting techniques to vividly depict various cats on its walls, dubbing it the “Magic Cat House”. Stepping into the store feels like entering a fairy tale book, evoking childhood memories.

▲ The cats, brought to life by Tian Rongling’s brush, seem so real that it's as if many feline companions are accompanying shoppers around the store.

The “Magic Cat House” was born from the hands of painting master Tian Rongling. He used the walls as his canvas, splashing artistic strokes to create different scenes on each surface. As you walk into the store, you can see cats appearing in various forms, and in one mural, a cat even reaches out from the wall, as if inviting you into its magical world.

The emergence of the Magic Cat House has added a new attraction to Yunlin. More importantly, the collaboration between artists and local shop owners has resulted in a distinctive local structure, giving rise to a culture that adds new vibrancy to Yunlin.
