Let you soak in hot springs with peace of mind！ Taitung announces “32 hot spring sites with qualified water quality”

As the weather turns cooler, it’s the perfect season for hot spring bathing. To ensure travelers can soak in hot springs with peace of mind, the Taitung County Government recently announced a list of 32 hot spring sites that have passed water quality inspections, allowing visitors to enjoy a worry-free hot spring experience during their winter trips to Taitung.

In October, the Taitung County Health Bureau conducted sampling tests on hot spring and swimming pool water quality among local businesses, and released a list of 32 qualified hot spring sites. These include:

HowToTrip Grand Formosa Taroko Hotel, Dongyouji Hot Spring Resort, Koyo Hotel, Yayiwa Hot Spring Resort, Chaoyang Holiday Hotel, Hongyi Hotel, Awan Hotel, Golden Capital Hotel, Yixuan Hotel, Bishan Hot Spring Leisure Farm, Tianlong Hotel, Wangshanlou Agricultural Products, Pacific Saltwater Hot Springs, Fuzhishan Hot Spring Homestay, East Sun Hot Spring Club, Taimali Castle Hot Spring Homestay, Yaxi Villa, Dante Shop, Yitianwu Hot Spring Homestay, Mizhigu Hot Spring Homestay, Yuanshan Kungfu Homestay, Old Captain Hot Spring, Meizhibin Agricultural Products, Xiyuji, Yingjia Hot Spring, Shanyue Hot Spring House, Golden Hui Hotel, Rihui International Resort, Dongtai Hot Spring Hotel, Luming Hot Spring Hotel, Qili Resort, and Fuyeh Hot Spring Leisure Club — a total of 32 locations.

The Taitung County Health Bureau emphasized that Taitung boasts numerous well-known hot spring destinations, including those in Zhiben, Jhihben, Luye, Green Island, and the South Cross-Island Highway, which are important tourism assets for the region. With winter now underway and many people eager to enjoy hot springs, the county government will continue to conduct monthly water quality inspections at swimming pools (and hot springs), publishing the results to protect consumer rights and ensure visitors can relax and enjoy their time in Taitung with confidence.
