Tonight’s maiden voyage to Tokyo Haneda      Vietjet: Arrive in the early morning and enjoy fun from dawn to dusk

Vietjet’s Taipei–Tokyo (Haneda) route officially launched late on March 11. The inaugural flight ZV252 carried 137 passengers, achieving a load factor of over 70%. To celebrate the launch, Vietjet’s mascot, Wei Bear, played games with passengers at the boarding gate, creating a lively atmosphere.

Vietjet stated that Tokyo Haneda is its seventh regular route and fifth regular route to Japan. Over the past four months, Vietjet has launched four regular routes to Japan, including Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Tokyo Haneda. Additionally, the Taipei–Ibaraki route is set to launch on March 15.

Vietjet’s Taipei–Tokyo (Haneda) route operates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Flights depart Taipei at 22:00 and arrive at Tokyo Haneda International Airport at 02:00 the next day; flights from Tokyo Haneda are scheduled to depart at 03:00 every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, arriving in Taoyuan at 06:00. Vietjet noted that it is optimistic about the trend of young backpackers traveling, allowing passengers to take advantage of the red-eye flight timing to have fun from morning till night.
