Due to the warm winter this year, cherry blossoms in Japan have bloomed several days earlier than usual. In Nagoya, where they are expected to bloom on March 20, there are already several spots in the city where nearly full blooms can be enjoyed. One of these hidden gems is “Takao Station” on the municipal subway Sakura-dori Line—step out of the station and you’ll be greeted by a stunning cherry blossom tunnel.
