Pre-tax price → Tax-inclusive price Scoot & NokScoot’s new website helps travelers calculate airfare accurately

Scoot and its subsidiary NokScoot have revamped their official websites starting today. The prices displayed on the webpages have been fully updated to “tax-inclusive” prices (including taxes from both departure and arrival locations, as well as surcharges such as fuel), making it easier for travelers to calculate the final fare at checkout.

Scoot stated that the old version of the website only displayed the base fare of the ticket, requiring customers to add taxes and surcharges after selecting the travel date. The new version automatically includes these charges in the displayed price, so travelers only need to pay extra for optional services such as meals, checked baggage, or in-flight Wi-Fi based on their individual needs. Additionally, the ticket price already includes a 7kg carry-on baggage allowance and a 3kg laptop allowance.
