Not just Akamaru and Shiromaru – Ippudo to launch 4 new ramen flavors starting April 1

As Ippudo’s presence in Taiwan approaches its fourth anniversary, the brand will unveil four new ramen flavors just before the milestone: “Rich Soy Sauce,” “Ippudo Black,” “Light Salt Xi,” and “Rich Miso.” The new flavors will be available starting April 1. Additionally, all eight Ippudo locations across Taiwan will offer 40 free servings of the new ramen flavors at both opening time and 5 PM daily from April 1 to 4.

Rich Soy Sauce is a soy sauce-based ramen with a broth made from chicken stock and a special blend of seven to eight types of soy sauce, served with medium-thick curly noodles. Ippudo Black features a pork bone broth enhanced with specially made black sesame oil and spicy miso, delivering a rich flavor, paired with extra-chewy, ultra-thick curly noodles. Light Salt Xi offers a W-style (double) broth combining fish and chicken stock, served with medium-fine straight noodles, and is elevated by specially prepared fried red onions and chicken meatballs. Rich Miso is made with a miso broth blended from five types of miso and a secret recipe, plus ground pork with a strong garlic aroma, and served with medium-thick curly noodles.
