Hong Kong’s hottest “foodie” mini buns make a limited pop-up appearance in Taiwan — just for 3 days

From December 1st to 3rd, a three-day “Regent x Little Bao” pop-up event will be held on the second basement level of Regent Galleria. Chef Vicky Cheng, the restaurant’s award-winning female chef recognized as Asia’s Best Female Chef, will bring her most popular signature dishes to Taiwan, including the Pork Belly Bun, Sichuan Fried Chicken Bun, and Matcha Ice Cream Bun... among other innovative Chinese-style burgers. During the pop-up, the globally first-ever “Purple Sweet Potato with Peanut Ice Cream Bun” will also be available for sale.

Regent Taipei has invited Hong Kong’s ultra-popular restaurant “Little Bao” to Taiwan. From December 1st to 3rd, a three-day pop-up event titled “Regent x Little Bao” will be held on the B2 level of The Regent Boutique. Chef Vicky Cheng, the restaurant’s award-winning female chef recognized as Asia’s Best Female Chef, will bring her most popular signature dishes to Taiwan — including the Pork Belly Bun, Sichuan Fried Chicken Bun, and Matcha Ice Pudding Bun... among other Chinese-style burgers. During the pop-up, the globally first-ever “Purple Sweet Potato with Peanut Ice Pudding Bun” will also be available for a limited time.

Chef Vicky Cheng was recently named Asia’s Best Female Chef. “Little Bao” is famous for its Chinese-style burgers. The signature Pork Belly Bun is rich yet not greasy, the Sichuan Fried Chicken Bun features crispy, spicy chicken, and the Matcha Ice Pudding Bun combines crispy pastry with matcha ice cream topped with condensed milk for a unique flavor. The pop-up-exclusive Purple Sweet Potato with Peanut Ice Pudding Bun is a crispy pastry filled with purple sweet potato ice cream, topped with peanuts, salty caramel, and cilantro.

Each Chinese-style burger starts at NT$220, with combo sets available from NT$580 each. (A 10% service charge applies)
