Even Korean boy band idols love it—refreshing pork bone soup rice and offal soup rice

Last updated 2026-09-25 — I had pork bone soup rice on my first trip to Busan and knew that CNBLUE’s Jung Shin and Minhyuk once took a photo in front of this shop (presumably recommended by true Busan native Jung Shin), but I never got around to trying it. I had pork bone soup rice on my first trip to Busan and knew that CNBLUE’s Jung Shin and Minhyuk once took a photo in front of this shop (presumably recommended by true Busan native Jung Shin), but I never got around to trying it. This time, I made a special trip because there’s now aSongnim Art Village—a small place, but perfect for a stroll after the meal.

It’s a quick walk from Exit 2 of Haeundae Station.

The shop is small, and the walls are covered in autographs.

The menu is simple: pork bone soup rice (the one all the way on the left) for 6,000 KRW. Or the second from the left is offal stew, and the third from the left is blood sausage stew. The one fourth from the left at 6,500 KRW keeps the ingredients and broth separate—the portion of ingredients might be a bit more.

My mom and I each ordered one—we got one pork bone soup rice and one offal soup rice. I love offal, so I picked that one.

The offal soup had a lot of blood sausages in addition to the offal. There was really quite a generous amount of offal.

The pork bone soup rice just had sliced pork. The portion was a bit small, to be honest—compared to the offal soup, which had more ingredients. The soup looked somewhat clear and light, while the ones I’ve had in Seomyeon were so white you couldn’t see the bottom, like in the next few photos.

Above is the pork bone soup rice I’ve had before—the color of the soup is quite different.

This shop’s soup, like others, goes for a light flavor—you definitely need to add seasoning yourself.

They also give you a small portion of noodles that you can add in.

The chopped leeks above should be added while the soup is still hot and steamy, otherwise they won’t soften much. Eating them hard doesn’t feel great. Basically, the appearance of pork bone soup rice doesn’t vary much, but everyone’s taste is different, so the experience varies too. For example, my mom and I have been to Busan twice, and both times we had pork bone soup rice. The first time was in Seomyeon, and the second was here in Haeundae. We both felt that the pork bone soup rice at Haeundae Wang had a lighter flavor, and the broth wasn’t as rich (or maybe it’s because we ate it at noon, and it gets richer by evening?).
