The most mischievousCrayon Shin-chanis turning 25 this year, and to commemorate the occasion, a special exhibition has been launched for fans to revisit Shin-chan's charm. The exhibition venue is divided into eight zones, including an interactive area that displays classic scenes from the anime. Visitors can wear character costumes and take photos, enjoying each iconic moment from the animation. Most surprisingly, there’s even an exhibit where you can smell Genji’s socks—the notoriously smelly socks from the show that were powerful enough to be used as weapons. Visitors can experience their stench firsthand, but don’t pass out from the smell.

In addition to the interactive zone, the venue also showcases the studio of the creator, Yoshito Usui, and even original manga drafts. Walking through the exhibition feels like witnessing the growth history of Crayon Shin-chan, allowing you to reconnect with this lively and adorable child. Moreover, to celebrate the 25th anniversary, a "Crayon Shin-chan Café" has been launched, where every dish is inspired by Shin-chan and Shiro—some even feature the chubby character Plump Left Guard, making them almost too cute to eat.

This exhibition kicked off in Tokyo, then moved to Osaka, and is expected to tour around Japan until next year. The café will remain open until the end of May. Fans of Shin-chan should start saving up and get ready to experience the charm of Shin-chan in Japan.
