Qbouagi, a highly acclaimed ramen shop in Taiwan, is opening its sixth branch—the Ren’ai Store—on May 9. Chef Ikuta Tomoshi has specially created a new limited-edition ramen called “Special King” Pork Cutlet Tsukemen, available only 88 bowls per day at NT$300 each, and will only be sold until June 8.

The tsukemen broth for this pork cutlet dish is made with pork bone stock, mixed with fresh tomatoes, shredded cabbage, and freshly chopped parsley. The noodles are specially made, and the pork cutlet is drizzled with a special sauce. There are also three different ways to enjoy a bowl of pork cutlet tsukemen: the first is the traditional tsukemen method—dip the noodles into the tsukemen broth before eating. For those who prefer a bolder flavor, try the second method: pour the tsukemen broth directly into the ramen bowl. Then, halfway through eating, ask the staff for a bowl of pork bone broth to add to the noodles—that’s the third method.
