Kaohsiung taxis equipped with “child safety seats” – 20 vehicles hit the road first

Chen Chu stated that although current domestic regulations do not mandate the installation of child safety seats in taxis, the Kaohsiung City Government aims to create a child-friendly environment and is following international trends by being the first in central and southern Taiwan to launch 20 taxis equipped with child safety seats. She hopes all taxi operators will work together with the city government to provide safe and secure riding spaces, and to promote wider use of child safety seat-equipped taxis.
