With one branch each in Taipei and Kaohsiung, Thai Like Tea specializes in authentic Thai drinks. Their Thai-style milk tea is already a hit, loved by fans of Thai flavors. Since April 2015, they’ve been offering butterfly pea flower drinks. Currently, they serve three butterfly pea flower beverages: the “Butterfly Pea Flower Lemon Iced Tea” with its romantic pink and purple gradient, the “Butterfly Pea Flower Milk Tea” made with fresh milk and butterfly pea flower — where the milk gradually blends with the blue to create a soft blue-and-white gradient — and the newly launched “Love in Siam,” a butterfly pea flower coconut jelly drink made with coconut water, butterfly pea flower, and cherries. It's not only bursting with Thai flavor but also incredibly dreamy.

Thai Like Tea owner Eddie mentioned that butterfly pea flowers are quite common in Thailand, even appearing in pastries, steamed buns, toast, and noodles. He wanted to introduce butterfly pea flowers to Taiwanese people, so he launched a series of butterfly pea flower drinks.

Taichung“Taiwan Dream”

The owner said they support local Taiwanese farmers and even specifically chose non-toxic butterfly pea flowers from Yilan, which cost as much as NT$12,000 per jin.

Changhua“Qi Shi Wei Coffee”

Qi Shi Wei Coffee, which mainly serves coffee, tea, and pancakes, has limited seating and primarily offers takeout. Starting this year, they’ve introduced a line of butterfly pea flower drinks, currently including lemon butterfly pea flower tea, fragrant lemon butterfly pea flower tea, and butterfly pea fresh milk tea, with plans to launch butterfly pea apple iced tea soon. The lemon butterfly pea flower tea contains only lemon and butterfly pea flower, displaying four colors: blue, purple, red, and white; the fragrant lemon butterfly pea flower tea adds passion fruit, lemon, and butterfly pea flower, showcasing four hues: blue, purple, pink, and yellow; the butterfly pea fresh milk tea includes fresh milk, pomegranate seeds, and butterfly pea flower, presenting three colors: blue, white, and red. Simple variations result in vibrant colors, as eye-catching as a sunset.
