A glass cable car to be built in downtown Chicago will let passengers soar over 44 skyscrapers at once!

Chicago tourism is set to offer visitors a brand-new experience—riding a cable car through 50-meter-high skyscrapers and taking in the city’s skyline from high above. Ever tried that before!?According to the UK’s Daily Mail, plans for this are currently underway in Chicago, with an estimated total cost of $250 million,
The project is calledChicago SkyLine. Key highlights of the plan, revealed last week, include the use of glass cabins and a capacity to carry up to 3,000 passengers. The glass cable car is expected to operate year-round, including at night, with a departure every 30 minutes.

The cable car design also aims to encourage travelers to rely less on cars, making it environmentally friendly. This city, which already boasts 44 buildings over 180 meters tall (approximately 60 stories), is about to welcome a whole new way to explore—and many are eagerly awaiting its arrival. The plan is still in its early stages and requires local approval.
