Taiwan’s highly popular landmark “Taiping Skywalk,” a suspension bridge that opened to much buzz and attracted many visitors. At an altitude of 1,000 meters, it offers views of the Jianan Plain stretching all the way to the Taiwan Strait during the day, while its dazzling light show at night resembles a star-studded path in the sky, creating an enchanting scene.

Dongshi Fishermen’s Wharf is designed around elements such as wind, sunlight, fish, boats, the ocean, and lighthouses, showcasing multiple facets of maritime charm. Key facilities include the Ocean Culture Museum, Specialty Products Pavilion, shopping street, Seaview Pavilion, floating bridge market, and seaside promenade. It also retains the original functions of a fishing harbor, making it a great holiday destination.

The 2019 Fish Light Island Art Festival will kick off at the end of March. Themed “New Paradise of the Sea Island,” it invites seven groups of artists to create ten installation artworks that integrate with the local landscape of Fish Light Island. During the 23-day exhibition, there will also be hands-on workshops, weekend markets, and art performances — a lively event not to be missed.
