The weather is getting cooler—want to curl up in a peaceful and cozy space? Hidden in the alleys of Taipei’s Gongguan area,"Cozy Alleyway"lives up to its name by offering a tranquil nook where you can enjoy the atmosphere alone, gather with friends, or even bring your pet along. Not only does it feature retro decor, but the menu and generous portions also leave customers highly satisfied.
Officially opened in July this year, the exterior may look ordinary, but step inside and you’ll be instantly drawn to the interior design—the contrast between outside and in is striking. The cement floors paired with green plants, vintage-style tables and chairs, and the overall ambiance make it a high-quality dining spot. Students can enjoy a 5% discount with their student ID, and it’s also a pet-friendly restaurant where you can spend a relaxing afternoon with your furry friend.

The menu mainly offers Italian and American cuisine, including brunch, pasta, grilled dishes, fried foods, sandwiches, sparkling drinks, tea, and coffee. The sandwiches here are generously stuffed with unique ingredient combinations—try the Korean pork cutlet with fried cheese, a rare flavor with a hearty texture so thick you can’t take a bite in one go. It’s truly made with care.

The pasta is reasonably priced with large portions, making it great value for money. The chef pays close attention to plating, never cutting corners. Options include a clear stir-fried white wine clam pasta for those who prefer a light taste, and garlic-spicy diced bacon pasta with big chunks of bacon and meat.

The shop also offers some unique alcoholic beverages suitable for both men and women—you can choose based on your preference. Every Wednesday and Friday from 17:00 to 21:00, get a NT$100 discount on any bottle of alcohol when ordering any meal. For non-drinkers, there are sparkling drinks to choose from, such as the dreamy-looking raspberry wildberry micro-bubbly drink that’s a hit with many girls.
● ETtoday News Cloud reminds you: Don’t drink and drive. Don’t drive after drinking.
