The 2019 Taipei International Spring Travel Fair was held from March 22 to 25 at the Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, running for four consecutive days. The event featured over 1,000 booths from more than 300 exhibitors, including airlines, cruise lines, travel agencies, star-rated hotels, boutique homestays, popular afternoon tea spots, five-star meal vouchers, gourmet souvenirs, and various counties and cities. The first day attracted a huge crowd.

On the opening day, in addition to the presence of numerous media outlets, tourism bureaus, and overseas offices in Taiwan such as Peru and Kerala, the fair kicked off with an exciting Kiribati ethnic dance performance, followed by a Bollywood Indian dance show, creating an atmosphere full of anticipation for travel.
Taiwan’s counties and cities spared no effort in promoting their local tourism highlights. With a wide variety of travel options available—such as spring flower viewing trips, Dragon Boat Festival holiday packages, and early-bird summer vacation deals—it was easy to compare and find the perfect holiday. Special discounted meal vouchers offered by restaurants and hotels were also very popular.
