One of the most romantic spots in Taipei features the Little Prince’s favorite secret rose garden. Located in the New Life Park area of the Taipei Flora Expo Park, the Taipei Rose Garden is a dreamlike urban garden.

This spring’s rose exhibition has officially begun, running from March 20 to April 8 — a total of 20 days. This year’s Taipei Rose Garden is themed around Alice in Wonderland, taking flower-loving visitors on a fragrant and fantastical journey.
The spring roses in the garden are all in full bloom.
Alice arrives at the spring rose exhibition but, while chasing Mr. Blue Magpie — Taipei’s city bird — she tumbles into the dreamy Queen of Hearts Rose Garden. There, she meets a horticultural therapist who helps relieve the fatigue and stress of daily life through aromatherapy, bringing relaxation to her body, mind, and soul.
The garden is filled with stunning roses.
The rose garden is a key beautification project that continued after the Taipei Flora Expo. It is one of the focal points of landscaping in the New Life Park area. To date, the garden has planted over 700 varieties of roses, meticulously maintained to create a lush floral spectacle. Additionally, more than 30 tea rose varieties and 500 plants have been cultivated, allowing visitors to enjoy blooming roses all year round.
On a sunny day, every corner of the rose garden is incredibly photogenic.
The spring and autumn rose exhibitions held each year feature both dynamic and static displays, incorporating school groups and art performances, with the goal of becoming a great leisure and relaxation spot for local residents.
