How do you plan to spend this year's Mid-Autumn Festival? The Flower Expo, kicking off in November this year, is set to be a major annual event in Taipei. To help visitors make the most of their experience, partner hotels of the Flower Expo have launched accommodation discounts of up to 63% starting July 1. The Flower Expo is also actively recruiting 500 partner shops in Taipei, offering a variety of great deals with just your expo ticket. It is estimated that this Flower Expo will generate an economic impact of NT$16.8 billion.
This year’s Flower Expo has partnered with 164 hotels across Taiwan to offer special room rates, including 164 partner hotels spread across 19 counties and cities. Among them are 37 five-star hotels, with discounts ranging from 63% to 20% off regular rates. For instance, a room at Grand Hyatt Taipei, normally priced at NT$13,600, is available for just NT$6,809 with a 45% discount through the Flower Expo promotion. Evergreen Laurel Hotel Kaohsiung is even offering an ultra-low rate of 43% off, with double rooms for just NT$3,300 per night. More budget-friendly options are also available, with stays starting at just over NT$1,000 at hotels like Chung Hsing Hotel in Hualien, Taipei Official Residence Hotel, and Asia Pacific Hotel, all offering 63% off.
In addition to discounted rooms, hotels are also offering various Flower Expo packages, such as complimentary local specialties, free shuttle service from the hotel to the expo venue, and free hotel beverage vouchers. Some hotels have even launched the “I Love Earth Eco Room Package,” where guests who bring their own toiletries receive a floral-scented bath set, juice, and can even enjoy a complimentary room upgrade.
Not only that, the Flower Expo is also recruiting businesses to participate in special discount promotions. These businesses span retail, food and beverages, daily necessities, photography equipment, tea and teaware, audiovisual equipment, dining, and everyday services. Popular stores such as trending group-buying celebrity shops, well-known chain tea brands, and Taipei’s famous traditional snack shops are all on the Flower Expo’s recruitment list. With just your Flower Expo ticket, you can enjoy discounts, special offers, or welcome gifts from these 500 partner shops.
In terms of corporate partnership offers, Starbucks Taiwan will provide “Coffee Friends Sharing Deals” at all Starbucks locations in Taiwan during the Flower Expo period for those holding a Flower Expo ticket. In addition to juices and bottled water, enjoy buy-one-get-one-free deals (excluding the Flower Expo Yuanshan and Flower Expo Xinyi locations).
Additionally, the Flower Expo has negotiated discounts with Taiwan High-Speed Rail, offering bundled tickets that combine high-speed rail travel with the Flower Expo and partner hotel stays. Drivers can also park at the Shilin and Neihu Flower Expo parking lots for just NT$50 per entry on the day of their visit by presenting their Flower Expo ticket.
