As autumn and winter arrive, many people suffer from cold hands and feet. To help consumers experience another side of the season, Taroko Jing Ying Hotel's 'Mulan Spa' introduces the “Winter Warm Ginger Qi Viscera Lymph Wellness Treatment,” specially formulated with ginger as one of its key elements, combined with lymphatic drainage techniques. This essential oil massage treatment also includes deep abdominal detox massage targeting the qi viscera, which helps improve internal circulation, effectively relax muscles and joints.

To align with local agricultural produce and the natural canyon environment, Taroko Jing Ying Hotel’s Mulan SPA has designed the “Warm Ginger Qi Viscera Lymph Wellness Treatment.” It includes hydrotherapy, deep abdominal massage (qi viscera), and lymph dry brushing techniques. Following the direction of lymph flow, it activates metabolism, promotes circulation, and helps eliminate accumulated toxins and waste in the body. The treatment emphasizes the deep, enveloping touch on the qi viscera to support abdominal circulation and facilitate smooth bowel movements and gas release. This therapy also allows the weakened nerves caused by anxiety, tension, and internal stress to rest and rejuvenate. Ginger has long been known for its health benefits such as improving digestion, boosting energy, and enhancing immunity. Many traditional Chinese medicine practitioners believe that ginger can promote blood circulation, relieve cold hands and feet, soothe menstrual pain, and aid perspiration. It can be consumed as a drink or used in wellness baths. Ginger baths can alleviate joint or muscle soreness and pain, and are also effective for symptoms such as rheumatism, cold hands and feet, and insomnia.

The intestines are considered the body’s second brain. The massage technique used in this treatment—‘Qi Viscera’—originates from ancient Chinese Taoism over a thousand years ago. It was traditionally used by monks to help detoxify, strengthen, and refine their bodies. Combined with lymph dry brushing, it accelerates lymphatic metabolism, allowing the body to renew itself and restoring a sense of physical, mental, and spiritual comfort, leaving you feeling energized and refreshed.

The ‘Warm Ginger Qi Viscera Lymph Wellness Treatment’ lasts 120 minutes, including a 30-minute negative ion mountain spring bath and a 90-minute massage session. It features a deep ginger massage and a set of ginger wellness tea and snacks. The ginger wellness tea and snack set includes a welcome health tea—lemon verbena ginger tea, a heartwarming drink—ginger milk vinegar, and chef-special desserts made with spices and ginger.
