The Yilan Green Expo is very pet-friendly—as long as owners maintain cleanliness and proper management, bringing pets into the park is not prohibited. However, on the 11th, a Beagle was found on-site wearing a collar with a British flag pattern, appearing to be a lost pet dog, but no microchip was found upon inspection. After being cared for by staff overnight, it has now been sent to the Yilan County Animal and Plant Disease Control Center. The owner is hoped to come forward soon to reclaim the dog. If no one claims it, adoption will actively begin after 7 days.

This Beagle was found in the park in the evening of the 11th, wearing a collar with a British flag pattern, and appeared to be a lost pet dog. The Yilan Green Expo immediately posted about it on its social media page, but after staff cared for it overnight, no one came to claim it. The next day (12th), it was sent to the stray animal halfway home at the Yilan County Animal and Plant Disease Control Center. Upon inspection, no microchip was found, so the only way to locate the owner is through public notice. The owner is urged to contact the shelter as soon as possible if they see the notice. If no one claims the dog, adoption will actively begin after 7 days.
