"French Flair in Lane 187", which has operated a French dessert class for two years and earned praise for its customized desserts, is expanding this year. It has chosen the Shilin MRT commercial district to open a new concept French dessert shop and culinary studio under the same name, officially launching on May 14. For this dessert shop opening, founder Linda invited Chef Vincent Mary from overseas — a former pastry chef at a French Michelin three-star restaurant, head pastry instructor at France’s LENÔTRE, and an expert in shop-opening consultancy — to Taiwan in April. He conducted a three-day professional-level French dessert course for baking professionals, aiming to let Taiwanese dessert enthusiasts experience the charm of popular French pastries that are all the rage in France.
