The Agricultural Leisure Tourism Network has launched a seasonal special feature called “Romantic Journey Through Flower Seas,” featuring 155 leisure farms or natural flower fields where flowers are cultivated, as well as nearly 50 exclusive themed tours. Just follow the guides and visuals, and you can set off right away to immerse yourself in the embrace of the flower seas!

The content includes the Xinshe Flower Sea and Huatung Valley Flower Sea, which are in full bloom, the grassland silvergrass season at Caoling Historic Trail, as well as popular plum blossom spots such as Fengkuidou in Nantou, Alishan, Wuling Farm, and Dongshi Forest Farm. In Nantou’s Fengkuidou, you can also pick plums, enjoy plum wine, savor a full meal of plum-based dishes, and even DIY your own unique plum pen using plum branches.
In the coming spring and summer, various types of flowers will take turns blooming. In spring, spots such as Tamsui, Yangmingshan, Alishan, and Wulai Scenic Area, as well as areas like Wushe, Lushan, Guanwu, and Qilan Mountain, are all graced by pale pink or crimson cherry blossoms that usher in the season. After April, places like “Dashanbei Leisure Agriculture Area” in Hengshan Township, Hsinchu, “Jiushan Line Leisure Agriculture Area” in Sanyi Township, Miaoli, and “Nanjing Leisure Agriculture Area” in Nanzhuang Township offer the experience of “May Snow.” And while the “May Snow” captivates visitors with its romantic falling petals, the elegant wild lilies, with their fragrant blossoms, quietly bloom along the northeast coast and Huatung shoreline, showcasing their noble and enchanting charm.
As midsummer arrives, the golden lilies of Chike Mountain in Yuli, Hualien, Liushi Sixty Stone Mountain in Fuli, and the “Taimali Golden Needle Mountain Leisure Agriculture Area” in Taitung not only bring the romantic feel of “one-day beauties” in the golden summer, but also offer delicious local golden needle meals and mountain wild vegetables that you shouldn’t miss. When the fragrant osmanthus blooms in early autumn, those who favor its refined elegance can head to the Mingjian Osmanthus Forest Leisure Farm in Nantou to witness the osmanthus rain described by writer Qi Jun and taste foods and drinks infused with the fragrance of osmanthus.
