The Taipei City Government’s Department of Information and Tourism today (14th) announced the results of the "Top-Notch Tour Service Staff" voting campaign, with Lü Guanrong, a third-year student in the Department of Hospitality Management at Fu Jen Catholic University, taking first place. To thank travelers who took part in the "Top-Notch Tour Service Staff" event, the department also drew 10 lucky winners today, who will receive Taipei Pass ticket cards that allow unlimited rides on Taipei Metro and buses across Taipei City and New Taipei City for the validity period, making it easy to explore Taipei’s attractions. The list of winners can be found on the Taipei Tourism website.

The Department of Information and Tourism stated that a total of 6,100 people participated in the "Top-Notch Tour Service Staff" voting campaign, including not only domestic travelers but also those from as far away as Canada, the United States, and Japan. They cast their votes for what they considered the “best tour service staff” after experiencing the warmth and friendliness of Taipei’s service personnel. Lü often works at the Taipei City Hall Transit Station and the Ximen Station Tourism Service Center. Thanks to her thoughtful, attentive, and professional service, she will serve as a tourism ambassador for the Taipei City Tourism Service Center and become the new face featured on the center’s promotional cutouts.

Lü also shared her most memorable service experience: helping a Belgian couple plan their honeymoon itinerary, which earned immediate praise from the pair, who commented that they had heard about the warmth of Taiwanese people. She also said she will continue to embody the “i Service” spirit of the tourism service centers, spreading the beauty of Taipei.
The top ten outstanding tour service staff in the "Top-Notch Tour Service Staff" voting, besides first-place winner Lü Guanrong, are as follows: Peng Guiyao (Mei Ting), Lin Yuchen (Songshan), Lin Xinyi (Ximen), Wu Yuanru (City Hall Transit Station), Wang Yu (Jiantan), Liu Wuchou (Yuanshan), Liu Qianyu (Taiwan Railways and City Hall Transit Station), Ye Jiasang (Taiwan Railways and East District), and Yan Beiling (Taiwan Railways and Beitou).
