Years ago, Twin Springs Resort unexpectedly discovered the rare “iron-rich spring” deep within rock layers 300 meters underground – a phenomenon that occurs only once in a century. The naturally gushing spring water reaches temperatures as high as over 90 degrees Celsius, with a pH level between 1.3 and 2.5. It is classified as the most premium type of “acidic hot spring” among the 11 recognized spring types in Japan, known as the kingdom of hot springs. Currently, such springs are found in only three locations worldwide: Tamagawa Hot Spring in Akita Prefecture, Japan, Beitou Geothermal Valley, and Twin Springs Resort in Jinshan. This makes it extremely precious. To preserve the natural quality of the spring water, the resort has installed heat exchange equipment that uses a series of pipes to gradually cool the 90-degree natural spring water. Paired with the carbonated spring, known as the “beauty spring,” you can first detoxify your body and then nourish your skin.

The ingredients and cooking methods at the resort are based on health-oriented concepts. Seasonal wellness specialty meals are offered from time to time. “Slow Food Movement” creative dishes are designed with the philosophy of savoring slowly and eating until just 80% full, combining aesthetic appeal with delicious taste.

In terms of accommodation, each guest room features a beige color scheme paired with minimalist oriental furniture to create a warm ambiance and refined taste. Rooms are equipped with LCD TVs, private hot spring soaking tubs, and more. Elegant lighting adds brightness and freshness to the rooms, making you feel as if you are bathing in the morning sunlight – offering a uniquely charming experience.
