To welcome the upcoming 9-day 2012 Lunar New Year holiday, airlines have added more flights to Kuala Lumpur and Penang in Malaysia, and have once again launched direct charter flights to Sabah and the idyllic Gen Teng Beach. It's a great choice if you want to spend a tropical Lunar New Year filled with Southeast Asian charm.

Gen Teng Beach is located on the eastern side of Peninsular Malaysia and has long been a popular tourist destination; meanwhile, Sabah, known as the "Land Below the Wind," boasts mysterious pristine rainforests and precious ecological landscapes from the deep sea to the high mountains. You can breathe in the forest alongside the unique proboscis monkeys at Mount Kinabalu National Park, or head to the nearby Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park for water activities.
