To provide more convenient and considerate booking and ticket purchasing services for passengers with disabilities, RY Aviation has launched a new service starting today, allowing passengers with disabilities and their accompanying persons to purchase “Love Tickets” and “Love Accompanying Tickets” at a 50% discount through RY Aviation’s official website or at over 4,800 7-ELEVEN stores nationwide. RY Aviation is also the first airline in Taiwan to offer this service.

Passengers with disabilities can not only book tickets through RY Aviation’s official website, but those without internet access at home or without a credit card can also use the ibon self-service kiosk at nearby 7-ELEVEN stores to book or purchase tickets. Those who have already made reservations by phone can also use this channel to obtain 50% discounted “Love Tickets” and “Love Accompanying Tickets,” payable either in cash or by card, making the process easy and convenient. Moreover, after the booking is completed, RY Aviation’s customer service will proactively contact the customer to provide related assistance such as wheelchair services and personal guidance.
In the past, passengers with disabilities could only request assistance from airlines via phone or fax to book or purchase tickets, and were unable to complete the booking or purchasing procedures online themselves, which was especially inconvenient for the hearing impaired. During peak holiday periods or important festivals, when reservation hotlines are heavily congested, securing seats becomes even more difficult. This initiative marks the first time that passengers with disabilities can also book tickets online and at 7-ELEVEN ibon kiosks, demonstrating RY Aviation’s commitment to passengers with disabilities and serving as a warm and thoughtful gift for them in 2012.
