Following TransAsia Airways, China Airlines and Uni Air have also added a new ticket purchasing channel. Starting today, the public can buy domestic flight tickets for all three airlines through the ibon platform at any 7-Eleven store across Taiwan. Tickets can be booked for all open routes from one hour before departure up to 90 days in advance, and payment can be made either in cash or by credit card.

To celebrate the official launch of this service, both China Airlines and TransAsia Airways have launched promotional campaigns. From now until February 20, customers who purchase China Airlines tickets via ibon can enjoy limited-time half-price to 30% off fares on seven major domestic routes. TransAsia Airways has partnered with Taiwan Taxi—starting now until the end of February, passengers holding tickets purchased via ibon can enjoy a NT$70 discount on a single taxi ride.

Additionally, in celebration of being awarded the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ Strategy Innovation Award, Uni Air has also launched a thank-you promotion. From now until March 31, customers who purchase tickets for the following routes via ibon—Taipei Songshan round-trip to Taitung, Kinmen, Penghu, and Matsu; Taichung round-trip to Kinmen, Penghu, and Matsu; and Kaohsiung round-trip to Kinmen and Penghu—can enjoy a limited-time special price starting from NT$1,177 (NT$1,121 for duty-free areas), while residents registered in Kinmen and Penghu can enjoy an even lower price starting from NT$777 (NT$740 for duty-free areas).
