The New Taipei City Tourism Bureau will hold the “Love at Home Together” hiking and social dating event from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM on February 11 at “New Mountain Dream Lake,” a well-known couples' wedding photography destination in New Taipei City. The event invites internet celebrity Zhu Xueheng and young men and women to step outdoors, using hiking companionship as the first step toward true love. Registration closes at 6:00 PM today (2/9). For single friends hoping to find a new partner before Valentine’s Day, you’d better hurry up and sign up now!

Additionally, the New Taipei City Government Tourism and Travel Bureau, in order to promote hiking and outdoor leisure activities among citizens, has also launched the “New Taipei City Hiking and Walking Network.” In addition to promoting 180 hiking trails in New Taipei City, it also selects ten essential romantic trails perfect for heating up relationships on Valentine’s Day, hoping that couples can join in the fun together.
Young men and women interested in participating in the “Love at Home Together” hiking and social event—and who meet the criteria of being unmarried males born between 1965 and 1980, and females born between 1965 and 1980—can register online. Participants who have their own personal blogs with a cumulative viewership of over 5,000 hits can apply to the organizers for a special gift as a promotional reward by writing a blog post about the New Mountain Dream Lake Trail after the event.
Additionally, the organizers have also planned a “Love on the Trail” photography competition and a “Fun on the Trail – Travel Tales” blog review contest. Photography and hiking enthusiasts can write about their hiking experiences and visit any of New Taipei City’s “Top Ten Recommended Spring Romance Trails” to take part in the contests for a chance to win great prizes. Prizes include DSLR-like cameras worth over NT$10,000, Gore-Tex windproof and waterproof breathable jackets, professional hiking backpacks, ultra-light down jackets, trekking poles, and more.
