At the Fragrant Tangerine Festival opening event (March 17), there will be performances by well-known bands and singers, free limited-time tastings of fresh fragrant tangerine juice, DIY experiences of juicing fresh tangerines, fun tangerine-themed competitions, prize quizzes, lucky draws, and special sales. On the day, the public can collect free NT$170 fruit-picking, agricultural produce, and food vouchers as well as raffle tickets on-site, or register online for free. There are 800 limited quantities available, with online registration open from 10 AM on March 14 to 4 PM on March 15, or until all are claimed.
Additionally, visitors who check in at legally operated homestays in Donghe Township on the day before the opening event (March 16) can present their receipts to receive a free fragrant tangerine (fruit-picking) voucher. This year, the Fragrant Tangerine Festival extends its fruit-picking park entry period to one and a half months, from 10 AM on March 17 to 5 PM on April 30. For more details, please check online.
