The 2012 Okinawa International Asia Music Festival will open on March 16 and continue for three days until March 18. During the festival, a total of 150 artist groups from Japan, Taiwan, Canada, and other regions will perform in Okinawa City, Naha City, and Chatan Town, combining local traditional folk music, rock, pop, dance, drumming, as well as the marching band from Nishihara High School... presenting a diverse range of performances.
The first Okinawa International Asia Music Festival was held in March 2010. Last year, it was suspended due to the Great East Japan Earthquake, but it has made a comeback this year, promising an exciting lineup. The festival includes outdoor stage performances at the Music Town Plaza and Koza Gate Street in Okinawa City (free admission), as well as ticketed indoor shows. Many of the participating artists are underground bands and independent musicians, including Diamantes (Japan), former Chitose (Japan), HOPPINK (Taiwan), Heyley Sales (Canada), Suming (Shumiyan / Taiwan)...

The flight time from Taiwan to Okinawa is about 75 minutes. Independent travelers arriving at Naha Airport can take the monorail (Yui-Rail) to various parts of the city. Near the "w^??拧闭靖浇? (likely a garbled placeholder; retained as-is) there are also bus stops and car rental services, making it convenient to explore the major tourist spots. For those driving themselves, it's also very convenient—just get your international driver’s license, Taiwan driver’s license, or bring the driver’s license issuance certificate, and you can rent a car and hit the road. Additionally, car rental companies also offer one-way car rental services.
