The Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area Administration under the Tourism Bureau announced: To align with extended daylight hours, the "Pengwan Cross-Sea Bridge" opening show, originally held at 4:30 PM on holidays, will be adjusted to 5:00 PM on holidays starting March 10. The public is advised to take note.

Since its completion and opening to traffic on March 27, 2011, the Pengwan Cross-Sea Bridge has become a new iconic attraction of Dapeng Bay. This single-tower asymmetric single-plane cable-stayed bridge is Taiwan's first opening-style scenic bridge. Its 40-meter movable deck can be raised to a 75-degree angle in just two minutes to allow large sailboats to pass. The holiday opening shows have drawn many visitors, and with the filming of the movie "Zhen Tou" (which became a box office hit), it has also become a popular pilgrimage site for fans.
