Universal Studios Japan's "Universal Wonderland" will open on Friday, March 16. This cartoon-themed town is home to characters from Snoopy, Hello Kitty, and Sesame Street, featuring 28 new attractions. Additionally, from April 28 to July 8 (excluding Tuesdays and Wednesdays), the park will launch a limited-time attraction as part of its 100th anniversary celebration — "The Mummy Museum: Curse of the Mummy Gods." Visitors can experience a top-tier Hollywood horror adventure.

Universal Studios Japan leverages cutting-edge SFX technologies such as special makeup effects, realistic sound design, and incredibly lifelike mummy sets to authentically recreate the 100-year legacy and tradition of the Universal Pictures universe.

The park combines these technologies with the spectacular world of the 1999 Hollywood blockbuster film series "The Mummy," along with an immersive sense of being lost within an ancient underground city buried beneath the Egyptian desert. The result is a thrilling and terrifying new attraction. There are two tour routes: "The Hall of Imhotep (Imhotep’s Mansion)" and "The Resurrection of Anubis (Anubis’ Revival)," each lasting about 4 minutes. Visitors can choose either one to experience.
