Summer is quietly approaching — are you ready to hit the islands for some fun in the water? Club Med, known for its all-inclusive holiday experiences, is offering early-bird discounts at its resorts in Ishigaki Island, Cherating Bay, Bali, Phuket, Bintan Island, and the Bintan + Singapore dual-city package. Travelers departing between April 28 and October 29 who book by April 30 this year can enjoy a discount of NT$3,000 per person. For those traveling outside peak summer periods, two people traveling together will each get an additional free night’s accommodation and meals.

With the arrival of the summer peak season, Club Med has launched direct chartered flight packages. The Ishigaki Island route kicks off first, running from May 16 to October 27, allowing you to reach Taiwan’s closest ocean resort destination in just 45 minutes. This summer, the Club Med Ishigaki Island resort will also unveil newly upgraded sea-view bars, refined landscape rooms, and suites, as well as partner with professional diving school Euro Diver to offer deep-sea diving and children’s diving courses. In addition, 15 transparent canoes have been introduced, perfect for family trips. Meanwhile, the chartered flight package to Cherating Bay in Malaysia begins this year from June 21 to September 5, taking just 4 hours to arrive in traditional Malaysian stilt houses.

Additionally, Bali, the flagship Asian resort of Club Med, has introduced electric scooters — Segways — for this summer. Bintan Island, which attracts large numbers of golf enthusiasts every year, has also just completed renovations earlier in 2012. Another great deal: from now until April 30, visitors who book their holidays in person at a Club Med booking center will not only receive a special Club Med gift but will also be entered into a draw to win a German-brand RIMOWA Salsa Air suitcase.
