Taiwan’s largest summer travel expo is set to ignite Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center. The Taipei International Tourism Expo will run for four consecutive days from May 25th to 28th at Hall 1 of the Taipei World Trade Center, featuring a total of 420 exhibitors and 850 booths — marking an increase of 100 booths compared to last year. The public can register online via the official website www.tte.tw starting on the 11th to purchase lucky bags for just NT$10. Prizes include airline tickets, accommodation vouchers, meal coupons, and more, with the grand prize being a round-trip flight to Macau (limited to 500 winners). Advance tickets are now on sale at 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Books.com.tw for NT$130 (original price NT$180), with sales ending on May 20th.

To cash in on the summer vacation travel boom, exhibitors are offering discounts of over 50%. Chihpen Pastoral Resort’s double room for one night on weekdays (excluding breakfast but including two half-price bicycle vouchers) is specially priced at NT$998 — that’s a 3.4-fold discount. A quadruple room is only NT$3,696, which includes one night’s weekday accommodation, breakfast, dinner, a cycling tour, and a park guided tour. Hualien Sightseeing Sugar Factory’s Japanese-style inn offers a three-person stay for one night on weekdays, including a hearty breakfast, Hualien Sugar ice cream, a bicycle riding voucher, a park guided tour, and a Japanese yukata experience — originally priced at NT$4,965, now on special for NT$2,399. Taisuco Ecological Leisure Farm’s Leisure Getaway quadruple room includes a standalone lakeside wooden cabin, breakfast, entry tickets, DIY activities, plus a free Sun Moon Lake cruise ticket, all for NT$2,999 — averaging just NT$750 per person. Additionally, Shin Kong Chao Fong Farm is offering a weekday double room package for NT$3,500, which includes breakfast, farm entry tickets, an open-air hot spring voucher, round-trip transfer from Hualien Railway Station or airport, one private hot spring cabin voucher, two drink vouchers, and a VIP electric vehicle pass.

As for attractions, E-DA Theme Park is selling a four-person ticket package for NT$3,000, while the Hsinchu Doraemon Science Theme Park is offering a discounted single-entry ticket for NT$280 at the venue. Taoyuan Dwarf Kingdom is pairing its entrance ticket with a round-trip bus ticket from Ubus Taipei for a one-day trip, priced at NT$599. In northern Taiwan, the Yilan County Leisure Agriculture Association is offering a two-day Children’s Fun Festival trip for NT$2,499, and Taipei Daban Gen Resort is selling refined travel tickets at the expo — valid on both weekdays and weekends — which include forest entry tickets, an open-air hot spring SPA voucher, and a coconut grove Western meal set, all for just NT$850, saving you NT$400.
