The battle for customers in the summer travel market has reached a fever pitch, with airlines and accommodation providers rolling out promotional offers. Singapore Airlines is holding an online competition from now until October 23, with prizes including 50,000 KrisFlyer miles from Singapore Airlines’ frequent flyer program, round-trip economy class tickets for two to any Singapore Airlines destination, and the grand prize of round-trip business class tickets for two, with winners able to choose any destination in the Singapore Airlines network.

This online competition includes a series of games and trivia contests, which will be rolled out in three phases with different activities at each stage, along with corresponding prizes. Participants only need to accumulate points across the different phases, with the highest total scorers winning each phase. Those who purchase Singapore Airlines tickets between now and October 23 and fly before December 31, 2012, can also earn additional points.
Besides Singapore Airlines tickets and KrisFlyer miles, top-scoring participants in the game levels will each receive a KrisShop Singapore Airlines inflight shopping voucher worth SGD 200 (approximately TWD 4,762). Completing the challenge will also earn participants electronic vouchers, which include gifts such as notebook covers and mouse pads.
In addition, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer members, participants in the B747 commemorative flight online trivia contest, and those who advance through the levels in each game will also earn extra points to be added to their final total. Participants only need to register an account and create a profile on the event website to track their game progress via the web or mobile devices.
