EVA Air’s fifth Hello Kitty livery aircraft, “Cloudy,” has officially taken flight and will be operating on the Taipei–Tokyo route. The Hello Kitty and her friends painted on the fuselage appear to be riding a giant somersault cloud from mythological tales, freely soaring through the clouds.

Since last year, EVA Air has successively launched five Hello Kitty livery aircraft—the Magic Plane, Apple Plane, Global Plane, Happy Plane, and the recently introduced Cloudy. These planes operate on various routes to destinations such as Hokkaido and Fukuoka in Japan, Tokyo Narita and Haneda, Hong Kong, Incheon in South Korea, Guam, and Shanghai (Hongqiao). Paired with Hello Kitty passports handed out before boarding, Hello Kitty pillowcases on board, and inflight meals featuring Hello Kitty themes along with exclusive ice cream, they have been widely loved by travelers. EVA Air continues to introduce new designs for Kitty-themed service items and Hello Kitty inflight duty-free products, making flying an enjoyable experience.
