To help students and faculty members save money on summer travel, China Airlines has launched a “Student Discount Program” starting today. Students currently enrolled in domestic public or private schools accredited by the Ministry of Education and current or retired faculty members can enjoy discounts ranging from NT$500 to NT$1,000 if they book and depart for one of 10 destinations—including Hong Kong and Tokyo—by August 31. In addition, those who participate in this discount program can also take advantage of a promotion valid for all routes departing between July 1 and December 31.

The destinations covered by this China Airlines travel discount program include Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Okinawa, Singapore, Bangkok, Penang, Seoul, and Kaohsiung—totaling 10 destinations. In terms of discounts, travelers booking travel products for these eligible destinations can enjoy a NT$500 discount per person on Hong Kong routes and a NT$1,000 discount per person on other routes. Additionally, customers who purchase the Student Discount Program will be eligible for a “Buddy Student Reward” campaign. That means travelers under this program who also purchase travel products for any route departing between July 1 and December 31 can enjoy an additional NT$500 discount per person on Hong Kong routes and a NT$1,000 discount per person on other routes.
In addition, China Airlines is offering an air miles voucher promotion for passengers who book flights to New York. From now until August 31, passengers who book business class tickets for travel between July 1 and December 15, or economy class tickets for travel between September 1 and December 15, will receive either a NT$2,000 or NT$1,000 voucher respectively.
