Want to feel the vibrant energy of Canada Day without flying across the globe? From June 30 to July 1, visit Huashan 1914 Creative Park to take part in the first ever free-entry "2012 Célérabration Canada Maple Plus Festival." You can also enjoy authentic Canadian cuisine and wine, and experience the fun of hockey. Additionally, on the evening of July 1, the renowned heavy metal rock band "Anvil" will perform at Legacy, celebrating Canada Day with the public.

Organized by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan, Lion Group, and Alleycat’s, the 2012 Célérabration Canada "Maple Plus Festival" is designed to fully present Canada’s indigenous culture and the rich colors of nature. Huashan 1914 Creative Park has been divided into three main zones: the Stage Activity Area, Maple Avenue, and the Heavy Metal Rock Zone. During the event, the stage area will feature a variety of programs including a band parade, traditional bagpipe performances, and quiz contests, along with energetic rock band performances.

On the Canada-themed Maple Avenue, there will be Canadian tourism information booths as well as various themed stalls selling Canadian products. In addition to sampling authentic Canadian food and drinks, shopping for Canadian brand clothing, and appreciating folk art, visitors can also take part in experiences such as hockey games, temporary tattoo painting, and getting a heat-resistant fan by checking in on Facebook. Furthermore, on July 1, Canada Day, the famous heavy metal rock band "Anvil" will perform at 8:00 PM at the Legacy music venue, celebrating the national holiday with rock music. Tickets are priced at NT$1,200.
