The Indigenous Flavors Pavilion at the Flower Expo Park is marking its first anniversary with a redesigned interior space. Starting in July, it will introduce monthly themes highlighting various indigenous groups, along with DIY activities and facilities like the Indigenous Tree and a light meal café. Moreover, on Saturday, the 30th, at 12:00 noon, Suming, the winner of the Best Indigenous Language Album at the Golden Melody Awards, will serve as the guest shopkeeper for the day, hosting a small autograph session. In the evening at 7:00 PM, the “Flavors Reimagined: Indigenous Flavors Pavilion Grand Reopening Concert” will take place, featuring performances by Suming, Luo Meiling, Tribal Handsome Guys, Red Flower Band, and other indigenous artists. On the day of the event, all items in the pavilion will be discounted by 5%, and drinks at the light beverage bar will be 20% off. Visitors can enjoy a taste of summer indigenous culture during the weekend.

The new Indigenous Flavors Pavilion offers diverse thematic tours and has planned a variety of activities for July and August. During July’s “Unveiling the Rukai Tribe’s Dance Patterns,” visitors can explore the weaving and jewelry culture of the Rukai people through totems, with scheduled activities including Rukai cultural tours, millet divination experiences, and jewelry DIY workshops. August’s “Tsou Tribe Cultural Journey” will feature a tribal cultural festival, traditional song performances, archery experiences, storytelling sessions, and other engaging activities.

Additionally, every Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 5:00 PM during July and August, an Indigenous Music and Dance Carnival will be held at the Aircraft Plaza of the Indigenous Flavors Pavilion, with performances by groups such as the Flying Squirrel Cultural Arts Troupe, the Taiwan Indigenous Cultural Industry Development Association, and the Savalang Band.
