When traveling in Korea, besides the must-visit popular city of Seoul, do you want to go elsewhere but are limited by transportation and language? The "K-Shuttle" tourist bus, a 3-day, 2-night itinerary jointly planned by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and six local autonomous entities for foreign tourists, has just been launched. There are a total of three routes that depart from Seoul and visit places such as Yeosu, Busan, Gyeongju, and Gangneung. The buses will provide information about tourist attractions in four languages: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and English. Onboard, there will also be professional tour interpreters who hold emergency medical certifications, accompanying the journey and providing guided services for each region. The cost is 290,000 KRW (approximately NT$8,320), allowing foreign tourists to easily enjoy the beautiful sights of Korea beyond Seoul.

The "K-Shuttle" tourist bus project is divided into three routes: the Southwest Route (departing every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday), the Southeast Route A (departing every Tuesday), and the Southeast Route B (departing every Saturday). The Southwest Route will pass through Buyeo, Jeonju, Yeosu, Chuncheon, and Busan, where you can experience Baekje culture, taste Jeonju bibimbap, visit the Yeosu Expo, uncover the secrets of red pepper paste making in Chuncheon, and take a stroll along Haeundae Beach in Busan while enjoying fresh seafood by the Gwangandaegyo Bridge. The Southeast Route allows visitors to appreciate the beauty of traditional culture in Pyeongchang and Gangneung, the hosts of the 2018 Winter Olympics, and includes visits to Wonju, the home of Korean paper culture, Andong Hanok Village in Andong Hahoe, and Gyeongju, the capital of the thousand-year-old Silla Kingdom.

The 290,000 KRW cost of the tourist bus includes a round-trip bus ticket, two nights at a tourist hotel, two breakfasts, and admission tickets to some tourist sites.
